Here are the specific videos for [comic panels] , [screen tones] , and [speech bubbles and lettering]. I encourage people to check out the anti-overflow feature on page 11, because when I first discovered that my mind was blown.
Anti-overflow can be applied to any brush as far as I know, but the default Fill-In-Mono Pen under the markers section has it enabled by default. Then just make a separate layer for colors underneath your line art layer and color away! Lastly, as a general note for people, Clip Studio Paint and Manga Studio 5 are basically the same program, just branded differently and with a few minor differences.
You can download both with a licence for either, I believe. Note: This is a very old version of CS but it is still used by many artists and is still very powerful. Current version of CS is CS6.
Some programs may not work well for you as others, because each has their own ways of going about art. You also want something that will satisfy your technical needs, while also being comfortable. What do I mean by technical? Simply put some art programs actually do not support CMYK.
This can be a burden if you plann on doing print work and not planning to use more tan one piece of software to convert it properly. That is a discussion for another time. Linked to the above are color profiles.
While most use a profile, not all do and use their own which can make presentation difficult. Then there is the matter of supported files.
This is self explanatory, but for me personally as i get and distribute a lot of PSD Photoshop files i use software tgat does too. Then last but not least, your computer. Various programs use different ranges of computer resources. Some will eat your machine if its not built to handle it while others are so light it can run on a toaster. This doesnt make the program itself bad necessarily, but certain engines demand more than others to accomplish a task.
What about comfort? This is tricky, because what works for one person may not work for you. For 2D Painter is my primary software of choice, but I will use Photoshop for touching up and preparing things for print. For 3D I mostly use blender and Zbrush together sometimes.
Those are all early 90s and mostly for Mac and Amiga from what I can tell, at that point, they were better platforms for multimedia than Windows. All you need is an account on their website and then the application is free. No lockout out features, no gimmick, no trial period, nothing but free HQ drawing software. The touch controls and pen controls are intuitive and has a high level of customization, precision, and utility. Autodesk is constantly updating sketchbook and has stated they will be continuing with updates despite it new non-existent price point; with video and written tutorials on how to use different functions of the program what you get in other applications like SAI or Photoshop.
There is the constant addition of new brush tips with videos on how real life artists used them to compose a piece, and not just a tutorial. Sketchbook Pro features utilities for 3 dimensional drawings, symmetry, circles, and more. So give it a shot and try it out! The program immediately apologizes for it and gives you an option to turn it off. Maybe Gimp? Or Firealpaca? Have you tried Krita? It has Stabilizer so it would solve your problems. Thanks in advance, babies.
